Sanctity of Human Life Week Begins TODAY!

An activity is planned for Sanctity of Human Life Week Jan 17-24.

All week candles and crosses will be set up at the free speech zone next to the Logan Library in remembrance of those lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS and abortion. There will be a community gathering at our facility (90 North 1st E, red door on the North side of the building) 6:30 Friday, Jan 22, a short time of prayer and a walk to the county Courthouse. This year the prayer will be lead by the Lutheran Pastor from Holy Trinity Church which is located by Old Main. It will probably be cold and the courthouse is a block away so dress appropriately. We have sponsored this for the past 4 -5 years.

We are the Life Affirming Center for Pregnancy Choices which is part of a National Network of faith based pregnancy centers across the US (CareNet). We offer free pregnancy tests and medical based information via trained client advocates on pregnancy choices. We also offer free parenting classes, community referrals, pregnancy support via maternity and baby clothes.
