May Volunteer of the Month

The Cache Valley Volunteer Center wants to recognize our May Volunteer of the Month.  Liberti Lucas joined the TEAM Mentoring program this year and has gone above and beyond to mentor our youth from the beginning.  According to her peers, Liberti “takes the time to get to know the youth and helps them develop their life goals.”  The students love her.  She is committed to the youth she serves and shows them how much she truly cares, by attending some of their events beyond the mentoring program.  “She is always there and is always consistent.”

When talking with Liberti, it is clear that she deeply cares for the youth in the TEAM Mentoring program.  When asked what drives her, she simply said, “I love those kids, they are my life!”  Once Liberti began volunteering she found herself completely devoted to mentoring the youth who inspire her every day.

Liberti, you are a shining example of the heart of a volunteer, and a true inspiration to those around you.  Thank you for your service to our youth and to our community.
