The Cache Education Foundation has a Tools for Schools grant program set up where they offer teachers 'mini-grants' of up to $200 to purchase lasting classroom supplies -- things like my favorite blue calculators. Applicants describe the project they have in mind, the materials required, and the expected learning outcomes for students. What a great oppurtunity to help teachers equip their classrooms with meaningful learning tools!
Next Tuesday, the Cache Education Foundation will be hosting their annual 'Driving for Education' golf tournament at Birch Creek golf course in Smithfield. This event helps to raise awareness for the foundation as well as raise funds for the Tools for Schools program. Come and enjoy a day of golf, great food, and fun prizes while supporting Cache County schools.
