Looking For Ways to Honor Your Volunteers?

Honor Your Volunteers
The Utah Commission on Service and Volunteerism offers volunteer recognition certificates for Utah nonprofits to recognize outstanding volunteers. The Lt. Governor's Volunteer Recognition Certificate is aimed at recognizing just a few of the many volunteers helping to make Utah a better state, while promoting and inspiring further ongoing volunteer efforts.

This is a great way for nonprofit organizations to recognize the outstanding efforts of volunteers who are really driving the organization and making a positive difference. They take time out to help YOU ~ Please take a few minutes out to recognize them!

Is there ENOUGH in YOUR heart!?!

"Not Enough" by Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah

"There's no room for hating in a heart full of kindness.
How long will it take then for that to ring true?
Our chances are fading, just stop all this blindness.
A new world is waiting for us if we do.
But there's not enough love in our hearts..."

COLOR VIBE employees are coloring October with SERVICE!!

Our mission is to promote volunteerism in Cache Valley, connecting people and groups with volunteer opportunities and helping our partner organizations to find volunteers as needed. We have worked with a wide variety of groups, individual, and organizations all looking to get involved in the community for a wide variety of reason. Their contribution to our community is invaluable!

One of the areas that is often over-looked is the significant potential businesses and companies have to offer the community through employee volunteer programs. Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting soe of the unique ways that our local businesses are choosing to get involved and make a positive difference.

Our first spotlight is a company that is all about COLOR, and they are choosing to color October with a variety of service projects. Color Vibe will be spending a few hours every Tuesday in october volunteering and addressing various needs. A few of the organizations and projects they will be helping with include the Cache Humane Society, Willow Park Zoo, American West Heritage Center, a local elementary school, and the volunteer center's Financial Wellness Project.

What a GREAT way to impact a community in a positive way! Here is a little more information about Color Vibe and why they have chosen to get involved:

Color Vibe is a Logan, UT based company comprised of about 25 fun-enthusiasts that travel throughout the U.S. and Canada putting on unique and colorfully fun-filled 5K extravaganzas. We strive to positively ipact every communitywe host our events in by encouraging healthy lifestyles, benefiting local charities, and spreading good vibes! By being a part of our family friendly and community oriented events, participants are reminded that being active, both physically and in their community, can be fun and extremely rewarding. As a company, we realize that none of this would be possible without a home-base. Taking the time to help out in our own community, outside of our events, is our way of showing our appreciation and giving back to our community members. We hope to set an example and encourage others to find their own way of giving back with a 'Good Vibes Only' mentality.
