Let's Rake Some LEAVES!

Fall is such a wonderful time of the year. With it comes many opportunities to serve. There is always a LOT of work to be done to prepare yards and homes for the upcoming winter. For the elderly, the disabled, or those experiencing health concerns and other set-backs it can be an overwhelming time of the year as they worry about how they will be able to drain sprinkling systems, rake the leaves that will inevitably cover their lawns, and prep their yards and garden spots for winter.

Please take some time to assess your neighborhood. Is there someone on your street that you could spend a few hours helping? How about taking a couple of hours on Saturday, October 12, to join with other Cache Valley citizens and help make a positive difference in the community?

With the holidays just around the corner, a season known for community service and charitable giving, please keep in mind that in order for our less abled citizens to be able to enjoy the holiday season they need to first make it through this season of falling leaves and cooling weather. Let's not wait-- get involved now and look for ways that YOU can make a difference!
