A Powerful Networking Opportunity for Home-based Business Owners

As part of the Cache Valley Financial Wellness Project we are starting a Networking Think Tank for home-based business owners. The group will provide a place for home-based business owners to join together to network, share ideas, learn together, and grow together.

One of the most effective ways for you to attain your financial goal of retiring comfortably is to have some type of residual income during retirement such as rental properties, royalties from books or music videos, etc. However, not everyone has the ability to write a book or produce music. One of the best, and most common, sources of residual income is to build a side business that will continue beyond your 'job'. This could include developing a business idea you have had for some time, building a direct selling or network marketing business, or developing a skill or service that will allow you to build a business around it.

Another benefit of investing your time and effort into building your home-based business is that you have a safety net if ever you are laid-off or just decide that the full-time gig isn't working for you and your family.

However, building a home-based business is a lot of work and takes dedication, mental toughness, and LOTS of networking! In order to support you in your efforts to build your business we are developing a Networking Think Tank designed specifically for YOU!

The group will meet every Thursday from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm at the Cache Chamber board room (160 North Main). Each member will have a chance to introduce their business and receive referrals from other members. We will share ideas about ways to find and reach new clients, brainstorm together on issues that matter to the group, and provide a 'Think Tank' for addressing business challenges and opportunities. We will also take some time to discuss the chapter from the self-improvement book we are reading together, which will be made available on-line. In addition, we will invite guest speakers to present on topics that members request, and we will share ideas and tips to help each person be more successful and grow their business.
