Make Your Mark on Hunger

UPDATE !  UPDATE  !  UPDATE  !  UPDATE

Have You Done Any Good in the World Today?

Just a reminder about how to "Make Your Mark on Hunger" Food Drive for Global Youth Service Day. They have surpassed their goal of 500 food items, but it would be great if we could all help them DOUBLE their goal! Tell your friends an dnieghbors and see if we can help this be a SUPER DRIVE for HUNGER!!

Wilson Elementary is proud to announce their first "Make Your mark on Hunger' Food Drive in coordination with a nation-wide youth service initiative to end child hunger for Global Youth Service Day. Wilson will engage its Leader in Me students in organizing and promoting the food drive, which will run from March 15-April 27 with volunteer opportunities extending to April 30. Our goal is to receive at least 500 food items.

Volunteers may be needed to count up donated items each week, tally donations by grade and transport the donations to the Food Pantry.

Donations can be dropped off at Wilson Elementary in one of the grade-level boxes, and the grade donating the most items will earn a party! All donations will benefit the Cache Food Pantry and Wilson's Backpack program, which currently serves 24 students.

Make Your Mark on ending child hunger today!
